Default Options on taking off RS kit

I've had the car for a few years now. At first i liked the kit (even though i hated it every time i had previously seen it). I've been quoted prices like 1700 to get it removed and filling of holes in the car.( Price seem right?) There is a guy selling camaro body parts for pretty cheap(same color as mine) I fig it might be cheaper to purchase body parts and just have then swapped in. Would i come out better doing that and are the prices im getting quoted fair?

I removed the fugly RS kit off my Z28 myself. Paid $1,600 to have ALL holes filled (the 3 holes on each quarter panel and 10 holes on rocker panels).

Got a few quotes right around what you are being quoted.

I guess you all like having your cars look like rental cars without the rs kit!! lol. Just Joking!! Im just making trouble. I am a fan of the rs kit obviously. the only way i like a 4th gen without the rs kit is either slammed 2"+ or drag setup. "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder". "different strokes for different folks".

But back to the topic. There are a bunch of mounting holes and brackets undet the rs kit. event the spoiler, front bumper, rear bumper.

Personally I wouldn't want a Camaro without the RS kit............ well unless it was a 35th LE SS.
