Another good idea, which i did and it works pretty good it to plasti-dip your drawers in your tool box. save the money to buy the non slip pads and i think it looks a lot better too!! I love this stuff! I want to do a Mopar style stripe block on my hood (like the new jeeps)

I did my mesh grills a few months ago on my CTS-V, holding up well. Did the wheels too recently.
I think this stuff is awesome!
Can be seen in this crappy cell phone video. Click the pic.

I messed around with plasti-dip today on my silverado and figured I would give my input. I found it a Lowes in the spray paint section for $5.88 a can. I planned on painting the bottom half of my silderado with it so I picked up 3 cans of it t make sure I had enough to do the job. I started with the prep of my truck, Made sure it was nice and clean where I was going to paint and then started masking it off. I did a test spray on some scrap aluminum sheets I had and after a few quick passes went right to the truck. I started on the drivers side and worked panel by panel. I layed it on on even heavy coats and was worried that it would have a textured look to it but as it started to dry it actually flattened out very nice and looked really smooth. After I painted the panel I removed the masking tape while the paint was wet because it will peel the edge of the plasti-dip if you let it dry to long. I eneded up using 1 and 1/2 cans on my truck and it looks great. I did a "test" panel on my truck and I removed it pretty easily. I would say that this stuff is real easy to use and is a great way to change things up for a week/month and possibly longer on your car/truck whatever I attached a couple horrible before/after pictures but it was all I could get with my phone.

about my previous post in one of the threads. i ended up using Goo Gone to remove the 1 layer of plastidip off my rims. it wouldnt peel off in one piece because i did such a light coat.

i wanna do my 95 f150 extended cab. the chrome window trim. wanted to do the bumpers and nerf bars but that'll come off too easy so i might just use paint for those parts.

Thats the honest truth! It looks like you can get two license plates under there. It looks like you did the heater hose mod then ran out of money. Also lools like you painted the wheels black and ran out of money for the center caps. I'll paypal you the extra $6 to please paint those center caps. LOL

The unfortunate thing is I end up clicking all of his threads and seeing the car every time he screws something in.

There was a good amount for me, granted it got windy at times. I'd tape some plastic down.

Some of us aren't made of money and can't afford to buy nicer wheels and aftermarket suspension parts to make other people happy

I do agree on making the caps match, but other than that, your comments are uncalled for.
