Plati Dip? WTF?
Please tell us how you did that.
Run the pin stripe with the thicker stripe towards the center of the "black bird stripe". Stick the stripe on the back of the hood towards the windshield and eye balled the stripe along the curve of the hood.
I bought a bunch of "ram air" stickers on ebay for cheap. Peel off the ones that were on the car because they are too difficult to take off when the paint is wet.
Wax under the ram air really well
Now LIGHTLY install your new ram air decal. like barely push down on them
Now run masking tape along the outer strip of the pin strip and setup your news paper along the outside of the stripe.
Do one side at a time.
Do not do this in the sun.
spray a nice light first coat.
next coat will be as thick as you can go before you get a run.
As soon as you see the paint form a skin this should be like 2 minutes.
you wait too long you will not get a sharp line you made with the tape.
you don't wait enough your paint will bleed over the line.
Once you think the paint is at the right state, you have to do this all really fast.
Start tearing all the masking tape and pin striping off without it touching the paint. then take a razor if you got kahoonas or a pastic wedge or something and peel the ram air out.
Like i said you have to hustle during that part. but you'll be left with a nice stripe than peels off when you're done with it.

i'm not good at using tape with plastidip though. i tried it and messed it up. the tape peels the plastidip off when i remove it. i think i read i'm suppose to remove the tape while the plastidip is still wet. any advice?

Plasti dip is cool, try it out and if dont like it, peel it off. Love the stuff.
Have you seen the whole cars they paint w/ this stuff. Kind of cool.

I used 2 cans for my wheels about 7 months ago, and they're still holding up pretty well. The flaking has started around the lip of the rim, but not so much on the surface of the rim itself.
