Quick berger panel paint question
For those of you that had your panel professionally painted, what shade/type of black do you ask for? Is it generally just called flat black or satin black, or is it more specific than that?

I guess I should have elaborated. If you go to a professional shop and ask for either "flat black" or "satin black" that's going to be the same thing to them. I'm sure that your local shop has sprayed something flat black by now, considering how big the craze. There are a few different ways to go about it. They have flat black primers, some single stage satin paints, or they can spray a black base and a clear with flattening agent in it, to produce a satin finish. Again, since you're taking this to a "professional" establishment, I'm confident they will take the time to discuss these matters with you rather than requiring "instructions".

I've seen a lot of pictures of those with flat and satin, but it's tough to tell which one looks better (i.e. oem look, clean, less conspicuous). Is there a general consensus on which version looks better in person?
