Default "Side Swiped"

This happened about a month ago. Realized I never made a thread here about it.
Upon further inspection, and ruling out my parents bumping it, I think someone grabbed a rock/brick that my mom has lining her garden/the driveway, and used it. The scuffs are chalky, but the surface is very rough and scratched, some pretty deep. You can see the scuff on the tire too.
What it looked like when I walked out to it.

After wash. The white chalky residue came right off. The black took some negotiating. This is what remains.

From a distance it's not TOO noticeable, unless light is hitting it or you're looking for it.
But up close, especially opening the door/getting in, it's nasty looking.
You can definitely feel it with the back of your finger nail. On the edges (car's body lines) of the panels I guess where the most pressure was used, it's chipped pretty deep.

Are my only options a repaint of all affected panels?

Lookin at it on my phone paint is u only option unless u just touch it up n live with it,from what I can tell on my phone anyways. You may be able to sand with some 2000 n buff alot out,but some of the scratches look to deep.

That doesn't make me feel better, but I do feel sorry for you and your car.

Too many idiots in the world.

No, no one really came to mind.
I'm on campus now, so I feel a little safer leaving the car parked at night.
Thanks for the kind words.
