Default Switchblade silver, street rod

Just wanted to share some pics of some body/paint work I did at the shop. It's a 32 Rio w/ a LS swap. We DID not do the swap! I won't go into it anymore than that. However we did do the body/paint work on the fenders and a few other parts.

The color is the newer Switchblade silver found on the new Camaro's.

I wish I would have taken more pics of the parts when I started out because there are really no words to describe how freakin bad they were. I have ALOT of time in everything but it turned out amazing. I honestly can't believe it turned out this great. Clear coat tells all and we are VERY happy with the results.

Thanks for looking!

Jason

The "body" or cab of the car is Synergy Green and the front/rear fenders, the pieces that run above the running boards/below the doors are the silver.

We just had the Frog Follies here in Evansville this past weekend. It's a huge show.

Thank you for the kind words.

I will get better daytime shots tomorrow morning before the sun gets all the way up. It would just cause a glare when I tried this afternoon.

Thanks again man. It hasn't been wet sanded or buffed. I'm hitting everything with wet 1200 this afternoon. We are going to spray three more coats of clear on it Thursday morning and let it cure good till next week. Then lightly use wet 2000 on it then buff it. It should be 'gut slick' after that.

Reclearing n then buffing makes a super nice job, I usually sand with 800 then reclear.got to be carefull clearing over smooth sanded clear(with no base)it's easy to run.
