Blending light and dark patches in paint?

Ok, I decided I wasn't about to pay a shop $300+ to paint my SS spoiler, and started to do it myself. I don't have the space to use a spray gun, so I just found some rattlecan gm pewter touch up that matches my car almost perfect.
I prepped it and then sprayed it with color. I have not cleared it yet. The problem is that on the top of the spoiler I have stripes/patches that are slightly darker or lighter. It's not too bad in sunlight but stands out under inside light.
So can I blend the paint with light sanding? or Should I clear it then color sand? or Do I need to respray it with more color till I get it consistent?
Any other ideas?
and No I'm not going to get it pro painted, too much $$; and yes I know the patches are my bad technique.

Try doing light even coats, it can be hard to get right with spray can, wait 5-10 min in-between coat till it looks covered n even.going to b hard to get looking right without a spray gun but what I said should help.
