Default Ceta mod?

2000 white ws6. entire rear bumper is white. how do you guys do the ceta black lower bumper? im thinking about going to my local body shop and having them paint it black. input?

Clean it, wax it, use plasti-dip and make sure you like it.

Rattle can, if you prep correctly and are half *** at spraying it will look factory.

i was thinking about getting one of the cans of the spray paint that matches the factory black and using that....good idea?

i just went through the search. it seems like everyone does it differently. i know im not gonna use fusion. its not tough enough against rock chips...

I went to a body shop and got it done cheap and it looks good. Went with a matte black, did a hell of a better job than I could do with a can.

Lol 16k miles and over two years of daily driving. Not a chip or scratch in it.

Fusion is some good ****. And for less than 15$ in supplies and two hours in work, awesome.

No sir, no clear.. I wet sanded, primer, Krylon. Held up awesome and looked factory.

Red scotchbrite the area, mask it, use a SEM rattle can in the matte finish you prefer. No fuss, no muss. Do it right in the driveway. Chuck

Spray can. Cheap as hell and can be done right and look great. Besides if u don't like it sand down and spray again. It's not like your doing your hood or drivers door.... just did my rear panel on my SS in flat black and it looks great. Save your money for GAS. LOL
