Default Imperial Blue Metallic TA 95

I've yet to see a 4th gen in this color so I had my TA painted in it. Thought i'd post up some pics.

I'd be curious to see that thing parked next to a NBM car

Love it! But I kind of wish you put a WS6 hood on it as well.

Future mods include the ws6 hood and a ram air setup. I'm just done with it for the winter. I didn't have the spare cash to dump on the hood right now and I couldn't stand the car looking horrible any longer lol. I want a ws6 hood with the 95 anniversary strip in silver like the rims.

Well considering they are both factory GM colors I imagine there probably isn't a whole lot of difference. Especially in low lighting situations. When the light hits it up lose it turns a lighter blue color. I got the idea from a SS when it was sitting by me at a red light...and then the little blonde driving it proceeded to blow the doors off my purple TA. So I got a nice look at it as it left me lol.

Just looks like NBM to me without the M(metallic)

Seems like if you pay to change the color of your car, you would get one that stands out a bit more.

But if you like it who gives a **** what I or anyone else think. As long as you're happy that's what matters.

Exactly, plus you couldn't get that color on a LT1 car from the factory, so if you really wanted one, this was the only way to get it.

Imperial Blue doesn't have the funky Puprle-Green tint to it that Navy Blue Metallic has. I think that Trans Am looks great in IBM, great color choice!! I may be a little biased though.

Yeah, the reason I chose the color was because my buddy has a black 95 ta, my room mate has a red 93z, so I wanted a dark dark blue. This fit the bill. The metal flake really stands out in person. I took those pics with my cell phone. I got the body work done and color changed for $800. Not to shabby. Door jams, inner hatch, and inner fenders even got done. I'm pretty happy with how she turned out.

Damn that's cheap for a color change! Wish I could find a place to do it for that much. I got quoted $5k just to repaint mine the same color it is now.
