Sorry bout that post^ was texting my wife n did it on here, lol.
You wanting to do base/clear or single stage?
If base clear I would use 99k dupont black, and matrix ms-42 clear with slow-or very slow hardner, single stage Nasson black if your doing a single stage.
If you can't get ms-42 clear use dupont 7900s clear.
You will need all the materials also primer, possably sealer, sand paper, tape paper n plastic, spray guns, sanding blocks.

first time... planning on getting a hood from the junk yard to practice... i dont know what single stage means lol sorry... i want to take it all the way down and prime paint and clear... found the ppg paint to match the code on the car and its 300/gal! didnt know it was that much lol
i olny use ppg clear coat base coat. it takes alot to paint you need epoxy primer for bare metal. primer surfacer to make the panel smooth after filler work ect. then primer sealer to keep the base coat from bleeding threw. then you have to use the right sand paper grit you have to use 400 to 600 grit befor base and 380 grit befor primer surfacer if not you can see you sand scratches

Dupont Chroma-base and Valspar 999 is what I use at my shop. Use quality material and take your time and you will only have to do it once. Redoing a paint job is always alot more difficult.
Dupont Chroma-Premier is one of the best line of chemicals you can buy and produce an amazing finish. The clear lays extremely flat and sanding and buffing is a breeze compared to cheaper clears. Totally agree with SilverBoy02 never skimp on paint. All the body work you did why would you want to cover it with cheap paint? Although if you cant afford the good stuff i would suggest going with PPG Shopline products. They are cheap chemicals but I've personally had really good luck with them when working on a budget.
paint can be very pricey the only thing i would say it paint and paint and paint on a lot of parts before you try to do a whole car. it's not as easy as it looks bc different reducers and hardeners are required for different temps and your gunna need a very clean and well ventilted area to to this. clear coaat can get tricky too i would meet a painter and learn from him first either way good luck
I have had real good luck with ppg basecoat and house of colors uc35 clear the clear lays nice and wet sands and buffs real nice. Practice is key solid colors aren't bad but metallics can be a pain alot of info online on spray technique. Good luck
