oh dear lord this thing is a monster. Have you considered lowering a bit more and getting it on a stance-related site?

Thanks everyone!

MrSEO: no sir. This cars suspension is on a mission to be dialed in. I feel I'm close, but only track times will tell.

Question is that how its going to tie into the rear valance? Looks good but I was wondering if they were going to flare it out even.__

Bob - the widening of the rear is only going to take place on the lower rocker portion. Hard to tell from pics but its actually brought outboard about 2.5 inches on each side. This is for two reasons. One - it actually makes the car look wider AND lower versus just plain larger. Having added to the whole side section of the side bumper, it added so much more mass (which these cars are big enough as far as I'm concerned). The second reason - simplicity. I won't say simplicity rules for everything, but in the case of aesthetics, it does more often than not. Lotta peeps love the factory lines of these cars (myself included). Change a single thing too much and you'll have an unbalanced mess of **** brewing before you know it. If you look through my previous concepts, you'll find a "misha" style rear bumper I attempted. Looked kinda cool in the photoshop, but when the form was placed on the car, it simply didn't sit well. I worked it and worked it before realizing a simple approach is what's going to prevail.

Update: the car's official deadline has been set to April 6th. This great news because it's the day before Cars n coffee

Whether or not we meet the deadline, that's a whole 'nother story. We are both confident though.

Status of the camaro: money had been paid. Design will be a refined pic of the autox camaro I posted earlier. My project manager said it won't take but about 2-3 weeks to complete now that they have the proceedural details down for performing the job to this standard. I'll be sure to keep everyone posted.

Hell ya bro! I can't wait to see the painted pics! Did you ever decide or figure anything out on the custom interior?
