This is going to be a work of art. You should show the photoshops of the concept. Do you and the shop still plan to market this? How did you tie it all together to be solid and be able to handle all the flex hopefully?

Sleeper: Yeah I guess I should since there are haters still. Can't believe that. I do intend to market this. Especially in the Houston area at first. Once the guys get it down to slick and quick science, we'll be able to make mail-order flares kits available. Just weld in (rear quarter parts), grind, sand, prime and paint. Side rocker and bumper mods will most likely be glassed in. Boom you just adde six inches of width to you're T/A.
How we did it: In the pics attached you can see the actual first step. The inner fender well has to be fabricated and welded in place. The reason for this is because one will HAVE TO cut the radius of the wheel opening due to the bound of the suspension. When you cut this, you'll notice the quarter panel is two pieces of steel anyway. The inner well and exterior panel join together at the wheel circumference. you'll have to weld at two places being both the inner well portion and outer quarter part. The outer beed will have to be ground down and body filled. The entire flare being welded metal to become one with the existing quarter panel will ensure a solid piece. Flexing will not be an issue.

A little secret: We are developing flares more like this for a 4th gen Camaro right now. I remember McNord saying he was going to produce a Dick Harrell style which will be great as there will be a couple options for the 4th gen camaros
