Gotcha, yea TT2s look awesome... but I don't doubt it looks great with those ZR1s.

Exactly why I did it, in college for engineering = NO money until after graduation, and the car needed some paint badly when I did it.

execpt for Mr. z/28's camaro i have yet to see a ls1 camaro in flat or satin black.

ive thought of doing this myself since it looked easy (flat black at least) but i have only really seen it on transams and firebirds in pictures so im not sure what to do.

Hey Mr. z/28, got any more pics of your car?

Thanks! Its just a satin black primer sealer. Its holding up well (1.5 years) but the car doesn't see too much sun and no rain so I can't tell you much for durability.

Yea, I knew it wasn't permanent but I needed to seal it anyway so I figured this would buy me some time to decide what color I wanted to go with.

Well it looks awesome hah, I'm not too much on altering the body on domestics but this widebody really pulls it off! Maybe my weekend warrior will be painted primer... it'll look badass and it's relatively cheap, and my DD will get satin black.

I LOVE that look! and it has nothing to do with not having enough money for a paint job. that look is just mean!

Quick question I love the satin but I've never seen it in person. Does a satin job have a smooth glass feel such as a clear coat or is it rough?
