It looks pretty good but I think it would look a lot better if the paint wasn't textured and was smooth instead.

I like Purple Power to, but it chokes me up, in confined space like laying under the car simple green works good and is not as harsh. Purple Power will eat your hands too so wear gloves if you use it.

That would be hard to do, this stuff is so thick that it helps seal all the seams on the bottom of the car and keep moisture out. Take a look under an old 3rd gen and you will see that the rust starts where the metal is layered and spot welded.

The instructions say that it can be brushed or rolled, I tryed both and it looked like crap so I had to mask the car off pretty quick and spray to keep from wasting a mixed bottle of the liner.

I like it! it's the perfect product for the underside of our car! for a garage queen i would probably do a bc/cc but for a daily driver/ week end warrior, it's the ****!

a customer where a use to work did all the body of his Vw eurovan with a similar product... it wasn't my first choice for a show and shine but it was his work truck so.....

good job man and thanks for sharing !

You would be surprised. We get plenty of snow here every year and just enough salt on the roads to screw our cars up. My DD is an 02 Cavalier and has spent its whole life here. It has 180K miles on it and the drivers side quarter is rusting out.

Rustoleum spray paint does not have any hardener it. If it did it would not sit on the shelf as long as it does, it would harden in the can. Haven’t you ever spray painted anything and seen how easy it scratches off. You need automotive grade paint with hardener. You can get some regular brush on Rustoleum, and buy enamel hardener from Tractor Supply. Brush it, roll it, or thin it out and spray it.

Put It on a lift and snap a couple pictures. I would have done black myself, but it's not like many people look under the car anyways. Good job

At first I disliked it. But then after seeing the black parts added and the exhaust I liked it. I think it was all the parts that had over spray on them that turned me off at first.

The car is all back together, except for an UMI tunnel brace with drive shaft loop that I am waiting on. It does look really good with all the stainless exhaust and the black under there.

I think it looks great!! Can you go in detail why you chose the Raptor Liner over the Gravitex product from UPOL??

Either way, good job man.
Lemons that Upol stuff is pretty good, I use it under alot of the Morgan resto's I do. Laquer thinner won't touch the stuff once it sets up.

Op it looks pretty good to me, did you notice any difference in lowering road noise?

Very interesting. I'm about to take my motor out and would love to do this as well especially since I have a 4-post at home to be able to get to most of the areas pretty easy.

Well its hard to say, since I put headers, Y, and a cat back on afterwards. If it was still stock them I may be able to tell you.
