Default Tintable Upol Raptor Lined the bottom of my car

Hugger Orange. This is the second one of these kits I have sprayed. I love this stuff. Came out real nice. I even sprayed down my rockers. I had to lay on my back scuffing and getting everything ready for hours but it was worth it. I should have taped off the tank because it had so much over spray on it that I went ahead and sprayed it. I hope it does not come off. If starts to peel then I might have a mess. It almost looks red in the pictures but it is Hugger Orange. It also helped that my car only has 25K miles on it too. This should keep it nice for a long time. It wil look good under there when I get my black UMI SFC's on.

I guess its just me... I think that looks terrible, I would be extremely mad if I went to buy a car and the bottom looked like that.

Maybe it is because I see over spray on the shocks and fuel lines/etc.. I don't know.

I'm not trying to "hate", just voicing my opinion.

I think if you saw it in person you would think diferently. I mean who cares about the fuel lines. Once the car is all back together it will look even better. I cant stand how the only thing protecting the bottom of these cars is a thin layer of primer with at most some over spray base coat. As for the shocks they need to be changed out anyway. I will post some pictures when it starts going back together.

The bottom of the car was very clean, so some simple green, some sanding with 80 gritt, and it was good to go. The only thing that might be a problem is the tank. I checked it this morning and its setting up nice. It will take a couple days to get good and hard.

Possibly, it might also be the pics. I have never seen that stuff in person.

I'm a little bit **** with stuff like this, it would take days just for prep with me! LOL

Either way, good job man.

Must be a northern thing. If it protects the car from rust I say good work. Although with 25k and no transmission I doubt the car has seen any salty roads

Not my style it just looks rough for a low mile car

Here are some pictures with a better Camera, and my black subframe connectors installed. Gives it a little contrast. This car does not leave the garage in bad weather. I did it for looks, sound deadening, and ease of cleaning if need be. This also really protects the bottom of the car.

Looks like you did a good job spraying (minus the over spray), I would have just sprayed it all black though if it were me. Either way good job

The car is almost done, just some minor stuff left to do. I am going to make my own tunnel brace. I have to tack on my tips and finish the exhaust, but for the most part its done. Some pics...

If I were you I would have went with just solid black. It looks like too much Orange IMO.

It will keep your car rust free though, which is a plus.

I bet that was a mess to spray that close and upsided down. I've sprayed bedliners before and that overspray is some nasty stuff to get off. I'd love to do something like that to my 97 convt. but I think it would be impossible to get all the oil off the bottom of mine at 180,000 miles. But looks good.

I dont get the too much Orange....the bottom of the car was already Orange...LOL. All these cars are the same color on bottom as they are on top.

It did suck laying on my back spraying it. the car was covered and masked off really good. I had a friend go around the bottom of the car with a light looking for spots I missed. If it were not for that it would have been horrible.

Due to over spray. It was faint.

Just stating my opinion.
