I'm a big fan of striping, and one of the appearance mods that I did on my Mustang was a set of dual black stripes down the hood/roof/rear and the reverse "C" stripes on the door (in the style of the old Boss Mustangs). I included a picture to give you some idea of what I'm talking about. The ones here were decals, not paint, for the record.
After doing some research, the only door stripes I've come across for Trans Am's are the "feather" style and the little tiny fender ones. I know the side of our cars is more flashy already, but I feel like there could be a style I really like. Does anybody know of another style, or what the "C" stripes could look like on my car? I really loved the look of my Mustang, and something in that vein would be awesome to me.

Here's a crude representation of what I'm talking about if anyone wants to comment. Any feedback?
Also, how much do painted stripes generally run for doors?

IMO, the body of the 4th gen TA does not mix well with any kind of stripes. The second one you posted is a hockey stripe and is used primarily on Camaros. Perhaps experimenting with PlastiDip will give you a better perspective?

Yeah, I knew the hockey stripe was a Camaro thing, just felt like seeing what it looked like on TA. I think the reverse C still looks good on the 4th gen though. Not really sure yet. Thanks for your input though!

The only stripe on birds that I like is the bird of prey decals that go down the doors and fenders. If done right they look great. There have been a few on here that have done it and the only ones I like are the original and the Chameleon colored one built for SEMA

4th gen Trans Ams and Firebirds are "busy" looking by design and perfectly so.
Adding emblems, stripes, decals, etc push it overboard almost instantly into the tacky/rice category. The only appearance mods a Trans Am can get away with without looking like **** are subtle ones.

At the back of the hood. Outside of 30th's, I don't care for the look of stripes out back on birds. They look great on a WS6 hood and you don't really even notice they don't follow to the rear.
I was thinking of blackbird stripes as well, but wanted something a little more "in your face" to go with the white.

Very nice TA though!

I think the idea of putting the T/Am badge in the middle between looks pretty good. I'm definitely going to go with the hood stripes though.

The thing I'm starting to realize is that the middle line that separates those fake intake things on our doors and cuts it horizonatally kind of ruins any sort of striping :/ That design isn't bad, do you think you could do Red Car/Black pattern?
