You could try it with that plastic repair he is talking about, or might try to get some fiberglass and do it with that. But imho it be better to get a new fender from the local junkyard and sand it and spray it your self, it also would be cheaper imo.

well i just got back from this shop and they quoted about $800 and thats if they supplied everything including the new fender which is like 266 from the factory?!

if i were to supply the fender it would be about $400/500 for them to prep/paint it because they're not sure if they would also have to remove the front bumper in order to get to the side fender.

so my options are pretty slim as u can see. well i guess i better start saving up some cash

Fenders arent terribly expensive. Go get one out of the junkyard and get it painted. Even if you fix that one it will still have to be painted. Or some one on here may be parting out an Onyx black car with a good fender.

my vote... get a junkyard fender for cheap, have it painted, do the fender swap yourself.

Agreed with getting a new fender, they're not expensive. Right now on eBay, there's a used black DS fender for $125 shipped... you can even get a new aftermarket one painted your color for $215. Sucks, but it could be worse... it could be a rear quarter panel was wrinkled
