I've always liked the looks of the 4th Gen LT1 Z28 and LT1 SS.
thanks man. This car took off in a different direction then I expected. Felt bad taking a completely good car off the road when I should have just bought a roller but at least I can say I had my hands on every step of this build.

The front end is completely torn down. Time to start painting her and putting her back together.

Sounds like things are coming along.

Keeping the factory color or doing a color change?

Lots of awesome work done to this ride.

I've got a 95 that is going the opposite direction in terms of style. I'm looking into swapping my front to the 98-02 style. Although I can instantly spot a LT at night due to the 4 square front lights, I have always been a sucker for the larger grill of the LS. I guess its because of my love for Aston Martins that have a somewhat similar radiator opening. I do agree that the LS headlights only really look good in aftermarket form, especially when blacked or smoked out. One thing that I definitely prefer is the LT tail lights. The LS cluster just looks jumbled to me and the amber lens throws it all off.

My dream is a hybrid of LS front, LT back, TA seats. But with most wreck yards having a few of each, it a good time for parting out what you like.

Thanks guys for you intrest in my build. This car went from a summer daily driver to what you see now after I watched a 4th gen go 6.68 at 217 mph in the quarter and I set a goal. New race parts for this car are all over the place ( my house, the shop, storage unit , and parents house) and many old stock parts have been sold. One day in the near future she will breath again and move under her own power

here is that video
