Sexiest Blue Paint on a F body
Hey everyone,
Getting ready to pick out a color this week, just trying to find the perfect shade of blue for my 2000 TA. Any advice?, pics appreciated. I am not an experienced enough body man to tackle pearl right now, so that is out of the question.
Looking for something definitely not factory. Please state name of paint or paint code so I can find it.

MINE! It's PPG paint. Their top of the line Global brand. GTS blue........from the Dodge Viper. First came out in 1996. It's actually a pearl, but if I didn't tell you, you would think it's a metallic. It has that metallic flake look, but it's technically pearl.

Thanks man! LOL Your sig pic looks pretty sick too.
Search my SN and type in sexy girls for the keyword. You'll find 2 threads of mine with more goodness. Feel free to bump those threads up again!
BTW, my car now has clear front corners....only pic I have right now is this one a hot female friend of mine took with her phone at her apartments when I went to pick her up!

HotWhip you do the body work yourself? Do you know if you had to start the base coat a color other that the blue?, I know you mentioned it was a pearl.

Yea I did the body work. The car was rough and not all my body parts are original. I primered the whole car to be sure I didn't have a problem.
As long as your car matches, sanding the clear coat with say 600 girt and respraying your car, you shouldn't have any problems at all. The factory paint is a perfect foundation for a good paint job.

Hey hotwhip what was the color before? And did you do under the interior pieces? ( like if you took of the door pillars does it show a different color)
Im sure it doesnt matter
But I was thinking of doing a candy apple redish pearl(maybe) soon and thinking if I should remove some interior pieces (wont cost me any extra)
I know you wont see it unless someone removes the stuff but its kinda piece of mind thing Plus the guy said he would do if I took off like the pillar and hatch cover
