Trans Am - CF/Kevlar panels || color change - Lambo Orange Pearl with black stripes
Getting my car back tomorrow, sprayed Lamborghini Orange Pearl. Love this color! I'll post up more pics after I pick it up Monday or Tuesday.
Deletes:
- Pounded the PONTIAC out of the driver side headlight cover.
- Removed the trim off the door
- Removed TRANS AM from the door.
- Removed PONTIAC from the rear bumper, plastic weld fill, not bondo or filler.
- Black painted center tail light filler panel.
- Removed the power antenna.
- Removed WS6 badge.
- No decals.
Mods:
- WS-9 Hood
- CETA
This car is practically bone stock with 100k miles. Dynamat, interior swap to ebony, and stereo install will follow. I have the entire ebony interior ready to be plugged in, including new ultra-plush carpet with mass backing and a new headliner. Lots of work ahead of me. After that its suspension (KW Variant 3 coilovers and fully adjustable components) and brakes time, going with Z06 rotors and CTS-V calipers. I need to decide which motor build to go with, which block, blown or turbo, which heads and cam. Looking to get around 700rwhp.

I'm thinking a cast iron block, 6.0L+, from a wrecked truck and build for turbos. What are your thoughts on motor build, keeping price point in mind?
Also, Im looking at KW Variant 3 coil overs, Im hoping that Bilstein will put out a Clubsport coil over for my car before Im ready to buy.
I'm more concerned with a touring setup rather than drag, I need to shop available suspension components geared toward road race/tour. Most everything for these cars seem to be geared for straight track.

Here is a link to his build......https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...ous-build.html
And Im looking into a couple options for my car, and AES seems to be putting out some great products for pretty reasonable prices, so I would check them out as well.
Thanks man, it's my dream car. I havent driven it in almost a year (currently in afghanistan). But I can't wait to get home and start the new build
