Hard to get an SS hood from them when they don't sell SS hoods. And for the roof issue did you ever contact them? Or did the shop maybe do the same thing the OP's shop did the first time and try to install it wrong?

Yes the body shop was doing it right. We got a used roof from the wrecker and compared the one from 6LE and the aftermarket roof from them was smaller and not even shape the same. For the hood I got it from them as well from the same manufacture as the roof sail panel.

I know alot of people are considering this, but there are virtually no completed/painted/installed pics around...

I should have some pics up this weekend after I get the car cleaned up. I've been side tracked with other projects.

I added pics to my original post. I was raining today so I had to take them in my garage. I'll have to put some day light pics up later.

Sad thing is we've sold probably 400 of these already but hardly anyone ever sends finished pics, lol. Of course the one bad batch got plenty of pics !

Stand up company right there not many people would do that.

More pics posted!!!!

This is the first time I've looked really close at it in the daylight also. The new paint definately needs some Zaino.

Had my carbon fiber one installed yesterday, get some pics tomorrow or this weekend and post up here too. Mine fit well, but was larger than stock. Im pleased.... but its not perfect, 95% or so. Better than teenage pizza face though.

This worries me, especially since I'm about to start looking to replace my sail panel. I may go to the junkyard, if there has been a lot of fitment issues with the aftermarket ones.

Doesn't sound like a lot of fitment issues to me, just a couple here and there and a few improper initial installs.

A few improper installs? There are no instructions with the product. They claim it is the exact same as the original, but it is thinner. They claim that because they are all made in the same mold, they have to be the same, ignoring the fact that it is hand laid fiberglass, and temperature and humidity alone are enough to turn out a different product.

The 6LE roof bar looks terrible on my car, and most every one I've seen.

6LE won't allow negative reviews on their website either. No way for buyers to know they are taking a huge risk with their car.

I remember reading somewhere that when you install the roof panel, you have to start in the center and work your way out to the ends, you cannot start at one end and expect t to line up properly, or so I read.
