also anyone have a peoblem with the hood hitting the lid towards the top close to where maf connects? if so has anyone tried to put a little peice of foam with adhesive and put it on the hood where it hits?
Here is mine. It was an SLP lid with the logo molded into it. I sanded, filled and prepped as you would any other plastic piece. No issues with it after 4 years.

Verdad Gallardo If I remember right, it was over 4 years ago. I used 320 on the DA, used filler to smooth over then finished with 600 before paint.
Painted, cleared then color sanded with 2000 then polished.
