What size hose is ideal for painting???

yes you use a regulator at the gun!! unless you wanna account for the pressure drop through the hose your using. i just noticed you are in CA are you by any chance using waterborn??

oh ok i was just curious because water makes painting panels off the car so much easier. it tends to dry the same no matter how you spray it. sounds like your moving right along, hope it turns out nice!

Ya, I wish I had the equipment to paint waterborn but I don't. Maybe one day I will.
I've decided to paint the doors off the car. So today I'll be painting the doors and hinges and tomorrow I'll paint the shell including the engine bay. Then I'll paint the trunk and hood over the wknd if weather permits. Then the fenders and bumpers.
Oh I hope and pray I get this car done this month.
