Anyone think a 2000 t/a would look cool with black paint and red highlights? (Fender vents, CETA?, maybe something on the front bumper) I kinda worked something out on photoshop, but I didn't save it because I didn't do a very good job lol.

here are pics of what I would like it to look like.

No.. Just no...

the only way it would look good is if you had a WS6 hood and painted the stripes on it red..

and a bright red wouldnt look right. it would have to be like a Crimson metallic or somthing darker for the Ceta and Hood stripes and then with some dark wheels...

but without the WS6 hood and a dark metallic red id say no man...

In Photoshop, open the layers palette (F7) and select the "red paint" layer. Click on the dropdown menu of the layers palette that reads "normal" and change it to "overlay". This will allow the tonal variations of the reflected light to shine through the red paint layer and not just be a red block of paint.

It will look way more natural and give you a better idea of what the mod would look like. I have a black T/A and its been photoshopped to hell and back.

Let me know if you would like to see something chopped up

Thanks. I'd be getting a carbon fiber hood so any paint on the hood would be practice :p. I just threw those pics together quickly with a 75% overlay, I'll try again after work and see what I can do. I just don't want a solid black car.

I'm getting rid of those rims when I buy the car and getting something in anthracite or black.

How big are c5 brake parts? I want 17's but I don't think they would fit over c5 brakes...

CTS-V brakes are a much nicer looking and cheaper upgrade and depending on the 17's you use people have been able to make a few styles fit over them...

Highlights are highlights, keep them subtle, not overwhelming. I have a Black SS and i thought about doing a bunch of things in red. But i ended up keeping it subtle and not to in your face.
