Question Need to repaint this part of my scoops on my 2000 t/a

I'd like to repaint the grilles of my scoops but don't know the first thing about painting. At all. Has anyone found a good solution? Any details I should know about? What kind of paint should I use?

Thanks!

Thanks that's not a bad idea. I wonder how hard it would be to remove and reattach them.

they are double sided taped on. i would suggest having them powder coated. its much more durable and will only cost you around $20

i wouldnt remove them put a little tape around the area of the hood leaving a little lip, plastipdip them on the car use a razor to cut around the edges and peel the extra off. I just did that to a grill on a accord and it came out perfect

arnen't these pieces plastic? Wouldn't that make powdercoating not an option unless you had some metal aftermarket ones.
