Wow, looks good! Do you need to lay it on thick to peel it off??

The thicker the easier it is to peel it off. When it's thick it likes to stay in one piece, otherwise it comes off in a bunch of little pieces.

How many layers did you do? Looks real clean!

I neeed to figure out how to get my spoiler off, hopefully it wont rain Sunday and i can spray outside

The thicker your spray it the easier it is to peel off. I did the badges on my daily and found that at least 4 coats did the trick perfectly.

I did about 3, and had to peal it off because i got bubbles and the runs on it

Yea I had that happen to me the first go round. At least you can just peel it off LMAO! I just sprayed my coats after that lightly and haven't really had any issues. I also had an issue with that rough texture on my wheels. I think i was just trying to move to fast and not let it dry completely in between coats.

lol sorry for caps

its 3 net's on each side open trunk and view from below
2 nets in the middle gotta open the trunk plastic piece for those.
im guessing a size 8 or 10

I haven't ever had a need to remove the spoiler till now no.hating or ill plastidip your face LOL!

My hood is the biggest piece ive done. it's not perfect, but i like it.

Thanks! I did it just because the hood was white and i didn't want to repaint just the hood since i want to redo the whole car, but now everyone likes it black. Its a look you don't see often on these cars, and now the 5th gen 1LE is doing it

i used some plastidip on my GTI. the car was black and i used the flat white in a spray can and it come out really rough. it took forever to cover so i just peeled it off after i got the whole front done. just didnt like the texture. Looks awesome in this picture.

Love the look of the plasti on there, but from the pic it looks flawless. Might i ask "tad off topic" What LT's do you have on your bird?

quick update ... car is going tomorrow to get the part's done.
im also getting either smoked side markers or black 3rd brake light but those will be late(order) can't get both .. low on cash...
