What color is my car..?
My family has some minor color-blindness, just a hereditary thing, and I've always just brushed my car off as "a red car", but lately people are telling me it's hugger orange, and then I got to looking at pictures of it, and well... See for yourself.
Here's some pictures so you guys can "judge" I guess.
Also off topic, but I want to get rid of these wheels and tires. Good rims, brand new tires, I just don't like anything bigger than a 15". PM me.

As the car is listed as a 2000 in your sig, it was definitely not Hugger Orange originally. This was a '99 only color. So if it IS Hugger Orange it has been repainted at some point, and the code on the SPID sticker would not account for a color change.
As it appears on my screen, I could see how someone might call that HO based on the lighting in those pictures, but artificial light can often distort colors.
Do you have any pictures in the regular daylight?

day time pictures would help a lot, at night in a dark parking lot the camera is trying to adjust white balance and most of the light is often pretty far from true white so it really skews everything
I would bet it's red

So even if the car is currently Hugger Orange, it would be due to a color change repaint at some point, and thus would not be indicated by the SPID sticker code.
If the car has never been repainted, then it must be 81U bright red, since no other 2000 color would look anything similar to those pictures.
Here is the list and production breakdown of 2000 exterior colors:
1.41U Black – 8,786 – 19.3%
2.11U Pewter – 8,421 – 18.5%
3.81U Red – 7,677 – 16.9%
4.13U Silver – 5,646 – 12.4%
5.28U Navy – 5,086 – 11.2%
6.10U White – 4,927 – 10.8%
7.44U Maroon – 3,163 – 7.0%
8.79U M. Teal – 1,673 – 3.7%
9.71U Sunset Orange Metallic – 13 – 0.0% *
* A total of 13 Sunset Orange Metallic cars were built for the GM fleet in order to allow the color to be available at start-of-production ’01. All will be driven by GM employees and most will be disposed of thru the GM auction program to its GM dealers.
