I'm impressed, looks like it turned out halfway decent.

Yes you definitely picked the right color, white hides everything. Body man in a can

Do you plan on keeping that "Storm Trooper" look or are you going to eventually gloss it?

your really should go ahead and get rid of the side molding, also you need to get the honeycombs in the fenders back to black, they really shouldn't be body colored.

something I would also like to see while it's like this is take the wing, sail panel and side skirts and paint them to match the CETA then do something similar (obviously has to be a bit different due to bumper design differences) to be like the pic attached. Complete the look, if you don't like it, it wouldn't cost much to revert back, LOL.

not bad for a rattle can job. I had did my hood on my galant to get rid of faded spots using rustoleum gloss black paint. It turned out better than i thought it would plus its all about the prep work.

I had my truck painted with Hot Rod Flatz, matte white... and sadly it looks exactly like your TA. Nice job.

Wait. What? 6/10 compared to what pro paint job? Earl Scheib? Maaco? That's not even a 1/10 compared to a factory paint job. I mean even .01/10 is being generous. In the 20+ foot away pics, it looks bad. In the 5 foot away pics like the hood, you can see blotchyness and uneven coverage.

Why oh why would you use an enamel of all products? Much, much sanding is in your future! Also, it's going to be difficult to get anything non-enamel to stick to it. Now all the error and blotch will show through to the next paint job. You seriously just made painting that car 10x more difficult.

I'm not usually this harsh, but I don't understand the strokefest going on in here. Why provide accolades for high school sophomore level work. I'm all for the DIY spirit, but this has gone wrong.

It looks fine. I can relate to him being frustrated with a multi-colored car. I had a TA that was three colors so I rattle canned it flat black just to have it one color. It didn't turn out as good as this one though. A year later I had it painted for real. I don't remember it being an issue sanding the can paint off. Maybe I didn't use Rustoleum.

well the big thing I have to say is with the price and ease of use of Plasti-dip he could have created this exact look for not much more (buying the sprayer and by the gallon stuff from dipyourcar, not the aerosol cans) and when it came time to take it off it's a hour of peeling it off instead of days of sanding.

the matte white gallons from DYC are like trying to spray water. i tried it on my truck and ended up wasting $300+ and having to peel it all off. what you did looks fine and will hold you over til u can get a real paint job. is it ideal, prolly not... but its your car.

@DirtyVegas I'm glad to see you enjoy my work I'll upload some more pictures just for you and I'll do your Cadillac next new best friend

@Mcalus I've replaced the rear twice, two 4L60es, fuel pump, driveshaft, a t56 swap, front end swap, two rear tires, two front tires,C6 wheels, New front brake system, a new clutch after the other one shredded the teeth, a water pump, and an opti in spark the last 17months for a grand total of 7,568 have all the receipts to prove it. My priorities are straight plus school comes above all the ps4 was planned I needed a break from giving every dime to the car for a second. I won't complain since I love the he'll out of this car.

@Kyle plasti dip cost 8.97 a can vs 3.47 and it took me 14 cans if I'm paying for temporary I'm not paying 100+ lol
