everybody likes different brands/etc. Used to be stuff around they called prestege is was a gold tan color and went on thick. It was like a sprayable body filler. Was easier to block out a car to get minor waves and scratch marks covered easier. Aske paint supplier in your area for reccomendation. Their sales guys usually knows something that works well.

Not at my local place. The guys there are very condesending and have the attitude if its not done their way exactly, its not done right. I've been to them before and they aren't very helpful.

I been around the cutting and hacking up salvage car scene but I didnt get into the finish side of things. I run frame machine & cut 2 cars in half to put back on road clipped cars. I have sprayed primers but its what ever was available in shop. Seems every finish painter has different ideas on what to use. Find out from a shop near you what to use. There water based stuff out there and I dont know whats popular in your area. I really like the cutting/fitting/stretching stuff. Fab alot of stuff as well.
