Default Lifting gen 4 body with shop crane precaution

Just lifted body for the first time,to take out drivetrain ,went pretty good ,noticed that the body moved sideways about a 1"1/2",so i would say to keep the rear wheels on car ramps, not jackstands.hope this is usefull info to anyone.

Not sure this is the correct forum for this, but yeah... I would never trust this to jackstands. Most people take a pair of wheels/tires and turn them upside down laid flat on the floor. Then sit your rear tires down in those. It will allow the car to pivot as you raise and lower but will hold it from moving forward or back.
This time I used a set of blocks. Same idea. The rear tires sit down in the hole made by these 2x4's. Still allowing the body to pivot up and down.
You may be able to see them in this pic
