Okay I am seeing countless online retailers selling painted body parts, but do they provide a quality product and are they trustworthy? Some are rtaher fairly prices, but are they ****, and some are more expensive which I assume means a better product.
Anyone used these guys?
Any recommendations?
Any to avoid?
Thanks

I will say this... The likelihood that the paint will fully match what you already have is about nil. You may get lucky, but you may also spend money for an awful match as well. I think these companies mostly exist for people who buy and flip wrecked repairables that can't do their own body work.
It's a real gamble with anything non-stock. Even GM parts may not look right as our machines age. Sometimes I think i see different paint shades on my own car that I bought new. I know it was not painted but age does things.
If you do want to gamble you can always try a part. If it doesn't match, a good body shop will properly match it. Yes, it will cost even more $$$ but when I had some damage recently I was amazed at the wonderful match the shop made. I can't see the difference.

Thanks for the feedback. I am actually working on my 2007 Avalanche, and I would be happy with a close match, but I want the finish to be decent and remain on the part. If it were my 95 Z28, different story.

The door moldings are especially susceptible to this over time, they always seem to fade to a slightly different color. And there have also been issues with SS/Firehawk hoods and spoilers, as well as WS6 hoods painted by SLP and ASC (respectively).
I would say if its a solid color you might have a chance of matching. If I was repairing a cars body work and it is some what old I would take it down to a body shop and have them hit it with their paint "lazer" color match gun. Per the results of that they can custom blend the paint to match your car.
i would be suspect of the quality of materials and quality of paint prep .....those 2 factors are everything in paint
I am currently taking auto paint classes ....do it yourself and know that its done right

What he said. Prep is probably fine, pretty hard to mess up a new part but if it is clear coated then I wouldn't expect it to last more than two years before it starts peeling.
I purchased an outside door handle for my dad's Altima already painted from a seller on Ebay. Did it match.... It does in the dark! It looks better than having a black or gray handle that needed to be panted.
