Ok, i just got off the phone with Scott Summers. I have now successfully created a Case #. Next step is to contact a Pontiac dealership, talk with a service writer and have them call Scott. They need to evaluate the condition of the car.
So wish me luck, need to call Pontic

It dont matter. When you take it in to have look at they will call scott back and tell them the car is mint. Its up to GM to approve the free fix. Not the dealership. They will just tell scott that the car is worth it.
You got the date for them to look at it. That is the hardest part to get them to even look at it.
That TSB is nothing.

Yeah, they asked me the same question! Are you satisfied? The Service Manager looked at it, and said hmmm.....let me contact our area manager, and that's where it ended until I contacted P cust. serv. where I got the same denial.
Hello.......are you listening?
I say we should all sign a petition and lodge it w/the Better Business Bureau

Mint or not, didn't make a difference in my case, and the dealership knows my car has been in a magazine, and competed on many different levels, and been successful (show and car audio)
I just had my thread locked on the FAOA boards for discussing this very subject. Apparently a certain GM Service Manager didn't like the truth, and didn't know all the facts. Geez, 1st time EVER I have had a thread locked for speaking the truth (and maybe a little opinion).
Sure woulda been nice to get a PM from the Mod or Adm as to why? Oh yeah, that would be common courtesy

Well i think at least i got some good news... Took the car into the dealership after work. The car was clean, and when i pulled into the bay, you could see the bubbles with their lighting. I guess to my advantage . Anyways, i had printed up the TSB notice from pg 1 that was made in Adobe. That has all the info on. I also printed up from pg like 15 or so a link from GM stating the problem. I gave him all that info. Told him my case #. He said, well sounds like we can get this fixed, he gave me the body shop that they used. He also said that he will make a call to his GM district manager that covers the zone where their dealership is located. I told him about Scott Summers and what not. Told them too look up my case number. He said hopefully by Wednesday we can schedule you to fix your car..
Wish me luck *crosses fingers*

Just dropped mine off I'm a second owner and they gave me a hard time at first but after a while of talking and what not they agreed to do it for 100 bucks then a day or two later I recieved a call that the whole would cost nothing... which is even better....
