Most of us will just know that it needs to be done this way, but you might want to mention that you taped the plastic tarp down (along the tape you already put down to mask off the edge of the painted area).
Well all I gotta say is that to the people that are a lil sketchy about doing it on your own, DONT BE! I followed that step by step. Anytime I wanted to rush i made myself take my time and didnt cut any corners, and I couldnt be happier w/ the outcome! It looks absolutely amazing and wish I had done it sooner! Ill get pics up ASAP.
Thanks guys, I've tried to make this as encompassing as I could; but again I'm open for suggestions on improvment if need be. By the way EvilBLK02TA, this write up is listed in the appearance hall of fame.
I think it looks great. I'm in the process of doing mine. And since not many people choose to do the CETA mod on colors like black or NBM, I was skeptic on doing so. So far, i'm very happy with how it turned out. I'm wetsanding the clear, so when I'm fully finshed pictures will be up. Thanks for the write up Krazymike.
Please will somebody tell me if you can use just straight automotive paint, no flex agents, to do the bumper??? Are most paints geared toward painting metal or will they work for plastic as well with no cracking? Point me to some paints!!!
am i the only one who hates this? isnt painting it black supposed to make it look like its not there? cut it off? is that rediculous? leave it alone.
I think it's you and like two other people on this site. So, to answer your first question: pretty much I dont know the motives to why they painted the collectors edition like they did but hey, I like it. If it makes you feel any better, I feel the same about Berger panels as you do about CETA.

You'd probably be able to get away without using a flex agent, but since it IS on a flexable surface, I seriously recommend it.
