What to use to fill in CAMARO on berger panel?
I'm thinking about doing a satin-black "true" Berger Panel, but want to fill in the CAMARO on the panel. Is there a body-filler that is best to use and a process with it that I can pick up from a basic parts store to use? Thanks.

Bondo would be the absolute worst thing to use on this plastic piece as it cracks when flexed too much. Best thing would be to use a specific made plastic filler such as Dynalite or another brand made for plastics. I would use that as a "rough fill" just to fill in most of the recessed lettering and then use a product called Metal Glaze to do the final filling and sanding. It is very flexible and will bond to fiberglass/plastic as well as metal.

Ya bondo will actually crack after a lil bit of time. If the car is left outside in the cold it will prob. wont last 2 years before the spot where the bondo is will start cracking.
I know there is some putty type stuff i can't remember the name of it, but it would be perfect for this. It is sandable and paintable and would work great for the berger panel. Also this stuff is flexible so it will hold up atleast good couple years.
All products like bondo or body filler and stuff like that will start to crack after time and usage, but its just that some will last a lil bit longer than others. If the car stays in the garage in a heated environment then go with the bondo JMO.

i wouldn't recommend any brand of plastic body filler, they're just not made for that purpose. they will crack and seperate over time, and if it doesn't completely fall out, you'll see exactly where it was. you need to use a 2-part epoxy for rigid plastics, 3m or duramix brands work well. or you could use matting and resin, just be sure to use smc resin as all of those "fiberglass" parts on f bodys are actually smc (sheet molded compound) also either way be sure to grind out the letters a little bit, don't just smear over them or you could possibly end up seeing a outline of them after all the material cures
