Default Repainting a bumper front bumper cover.

My front bumper looks like someone scraped along the side of it, the scratches I can barely feel with my fingers, but they are wide so it looks horrible, it also now has a spider crack in it. How much should it cost me to get this repainted properly? I have an estimate for $550 from a really good shop down here that I like, that just sounds like alot for repainting the front bumper. What do you guys that work at these places think it should be? If $550 is fair then so be it, but I want to check. Thanks.

I was quoted $500 from a local shop here in Houston for the front bumper. Sounds about right if it's a quality shop.

$400-500 sounds about right. I'd guess around 3 hours repair, and 4 hours refinish, plus about $150 materials

$550 seems high to me, depending on how bad they are and how many spider cracks there are i probably would charge a customer around $350

YOu might be better off to buy a new bumper and have it painted. No body work that way.
