opinions wanted on painting my car.... hey guys... i have a 1997 Formula... its currently black with red stripes on the hood... i was thinking of changing the color and if i did id most likely go with Medium Blue Metallic, i think its the nicest color on fbodys... now id be doing all the jams minus the engine bay... but my car is black so i think it might look ok if i jam just the fenders and the bumper in on the front... and id be keeping the top black due to having the t-tops and probably the mirrors will stay black also.... what do you guys think if i did that or even just the color.... if not this id just repaint it black... any thoughts [IMG][img]C:\Documents and
heres a pick of my car without the hood painted and my old z06's they are sold.... im getting black torque thrust M's in the spring or a few weeks just to have an idea of the wheels combo.... thanks guys for your interest

Why change it from black? I would just do some sort of stripes or flames on the car, black looks bad-*** on f-bodies...
I dont think medium blue would look that great on your car with that hood, but that is my opinion... if you do change the color of the car, please paint the mirrors the same color as the car..... I would keep the roof black though..... just my input

heh thanks.. yea i have red blackbird style stripes on the my hood now that pic the hood is unpainted, its just black gel-coat... so i donno im floating around the idea... i might just respray it black and be done with it i donno... for 10 year old paint its not bad but i want it perfect....
