We painted it. What questions did you have?

It is being published, so hang tight and see!

That's the first I've heard about Ebay... another scam.

Sorry! The publisher wants the owner to keep pics under wrap until the ink is dry....

Oficially I work as an instructor at a GM tech training school, but I still take on select paint and custom jobs. Hit me up when you get close to ready.

WTF?

So do you leave the bumpers and rocker mouldings on the car as to not have a color mismatch? Does that create an adhesion problem for the paint in those edge areas where the bumpers meet the fenders and qtrs?

I run a collision shop in Hawaii, and we always R+I everything we can, especially on a custom job like this. BUT, I have never sprayed Kandys so I am assuming you didn't remove some of the parts as to create a color prob.

The application of the paint looks great, and I'm sure the final product will also. Just wondering why you chose to paint the car that way.

Maybe your booth wasn't big enough to paint everything off the car and fit all the parts + the car @ the same time?

Anywho- great job. Its really nice to see some attention to detail. I love how you colorsanded it and re-cleared it, thats the way to do it.

I am going to be painting my 91' Camaro here shortly with House of Kolor Stratto Blue (glamour metallic) and using UC35 clear over the base- color sand - Ghost flame it, - then UFC35 (flo clear) for the top coat, as many coats as possible til I run out of material.
