Default Is your car painted a aftermarket color? Pics?

Ive been playing with the idea of painting my SS. Right now im leaning towards a Silver or a blue. Reason is I live in Texas and since my car is black it is impossible to keep clean. So was thinking of going with something that looks good with black rims, I do have a set of chrome zr1s but I want to keep the z06 rims on for a bit longer. Please post pictures of your custom colors.

Go to a paint store, open a paint book chip and Im sure you'll find something you like! Lots of variations, mines a ta, but looking to do it in a pearl white, to avoid a complete color change.

paint ur SS silver like we talked about i think that it would look badass with the z06 rims u have but u could aways ask ur bro for the zr1. black and silver looks good but chrome and silver look even better especially with the 11" wheel in the back.. bLkWdOw SS i got the street lethal decal...

I'd stay a lighter color, especially in the texas heat during the summer, you'll appreciate it more!

I would get SOM or some variant of it, something nobody else has. Don't get me wrong, I love Pewter, Silver, and any shade in between but it is just far too common. I LOVE Y2k Yellow on Vettes, not sure how it would look on an Fbod though.

Leave it stock, you'll probably regret repainting it.

Blue isn't any easier to keep clean than black. Mine is going silver next month I'm tired of washing.

Default aftermarket stripe paint

here are some pix of my car, I have white w/ black stripes with a flare. my car is a bitch to keep clean, but I think it's worth it.

The body is white, and the stripes(all hand laid and painted) are base coat black, then chevy symbols(masked) then he sprayed it with a pearl overcoat. Followed by about 6 or 7 clear coats

hope this helped.

My '69 is Arrival Blue (off of Escalade EXT's, Silverado's and some other GM stuff) and it's a bitch to keep clean. Mostly because it's dark blue until it's in direct sunlight so in the shade it's like a black in terms of keeping it clean.

Gunmetal with black rims would be sweet.
