Default Sap on mothers car...How to get off?

My mom parked under a tree and now has a bunch of sap on her car....How do I get rid of this WITHOUT ruining the paint/clearcoat?

A clay bar will usually take the sap off. Just start working on it ASAP.

Bug and Tar remover worked for me.

very warm water with dishwashing liquid ... or any of the other suggestions in this thread

if you do that you will strip the wax off the car if you have any on there. but it will work, most likely

denatured rubbing alchol, will also remove wax/polish in the area.
