Default For cars that are BLACK, question about engine bay color.

I am going to repaint mine and I can't decide if I should use the DSGM001 Dupli-Color paint which is the color of the car, or if I should use a flat black paint. Is the engine bay flat black stock? Or is it black with just no clear coat or something?

IT's not flat black, it's more of a semigloss or satin. The paint stores have actual underhood paint that is an exact match if that's what you're after.

A lot of old muscle cars had flat black engine bays...personally I don't like it. I always do my engine bays the same color as the rest of the car.

Oh ok thanks for clearing that up. Would it be something that Autozone or Pep Boys would have?
