Do you know if the car was baked after it was cleared? You can wash it with water and nothing will happen to it i would hold up on soap for like two weeks just to be safe and dont go wiping with anything too coarse because the clear is not as hard as it will get and could scratch easier.

ok washed it with water only. and when i went to dry it i used a micro fiber towel gently placed it on the sail panel and took a corner and slowly dragged it accross to dry it.
looked at it closer and there are some fine scratches and what appears to be some swirl marks alrady i hate black, but it looks
once the clear cures how can i get rid of the swirls????

Man you will never be able to not have nothing. Trust me on black the more you wipe the worse it gets. You cant buff it with buffing compound. 6060 3m buffing compound and use a black polishing pad with the buffer it will get everything off, but no matter how good you take care of it you will always get those little swirl marks from washing.

Once it cures, just keep it waxed (with something good...Zymol, Zaino...etc) and you'll be fine. I've owned nothing but black cars in my life and will probably never buy anything else. It's alot of work, but very rewarding if you do it right.
