i see them on tow trucks all the time. those are off the viper competition coupe.
just do the tint mod on the covers, paint the area where the lights are black, and make some brackets for them.
edit: did a quick search for "round led taillights" and found these with a 4.5" diameter

i'd luv to see how black the sides of your car get in a week or two LOL cool idea but dont think that would be a real functional efficient way or doing it. Besides it would sound like nascar+lemans 24 hour cars on roids with a 20,000 inch lift cam on a 75 LSA
