Default Painting Coils

well i sold my MSD coils and kind of miss the Red in the bay so what kind of paint can i use to paint the stockers?

Question

Just curious, did you sell the msd's because of lack of performance or...????

Clean thge coils well with a scotchbrite pad and some alcohol or wax and grease remover, then tape off the electrical connections(and the white part on top IMO) and paint away. You'll get a more durable result if you use a catalyzed elamel or base/clear, but spray paint works OK too. Just be careful working around them later if you spray paint because it rubs off easily.

yes lack of performance, they mainly just looked cool and impressed people when it said MSD, besides that no gain was noticed and a buddy of mine who works on strictly says that they don't do anything... even a friend of his dynoed his vette and only gained 2 on one run , then lost one on second run...
