What would be the procedure to paint polished wheels? WHat would need to be done to paint my polished zr1's? what paint? would i need to sand them? thanks for your help.

send the wheels out have them stripped, then have them powdercoated w.e color you want. usually a powdercoater takes car of the prep work. dont waste your time painting the wheels, it chips easy, and if you use a brush on your wheels the clear coat will scratch like no other. plus like a car paintjobs dont come out perfect so u will have dirt nibs in the paint and they will have to be wetsanded and buffed.
