alternative solutions to the roof bubble issue?
I've been thinking, maybe there's another solution.
What would happen if you sanded the roof down to the raw material the roof panel was made out of, and then let it bake in the sun for a period of time and then had the roof repainted? It may still bubble a little, but would it at least improve the situation at all? There cant be an infinite amount of gasses/glue coming through the roof, can there?
Also, what about a layer or some sort of thin layer of impermiable resin/filler/other material on the roof (maybe after doing the other step i mentioned above) and then painting?
If youre laughing at these ideas i apologize
I'm no paint/body man. I'm just thinking out loud... it will get worse, and youll eventually end up with 100 pin holes. no thanks

I have a 98 and it does it. What I do about once a year is wet sand and then hit it with a medium cutting compound then machine wax and polish. Seems to work for a while.
There is nothing you can put on or over the top to stop the problem, it will blister through decals also.
M Mecham is a Feb 98 production and has no signes of the problem. My 30th T/A and my 01 SS were replaced though.
