Damaged SS hood

Damaged SS hood
Hey guys I am hoping some one can help me out with this.
I bought this oem hood cheap and also got the oem spoiler thrown in too but it has damage as well.
The previous owner was stripping the paint and wanted to see what it would look like with some stripes so excuse the shitty look of the hood.
The hood has damage only on the very front tip and I was wondering from you body expert what would be the best thing to use that will last.
I have used bondo and have some experience with fiberglass for molding in screens but never worked on something like this.
The spoiler took a good hit and cracked quite a bit of the fiberglass.
Here is pics of the hood and one of the damaged spoiler which I believe can be saved.
Thanks for any help with this. The spoiler is obviously going to take alot more work than the hood thats for sure.

actually i have seen worse...way worse. the hood will need to have fiberglass lad down over the cracks and over the front lip. The spoiler i dont see any cracks....ifs its just ruffed up then sand as smooth as can get and then bondo any deep scratches...other then that they look pretty good..

Both the hood and the spoiler are SMC, not fiberglass. You need to use SMC repair compounds and not regular fiberglass resin.

That's one example.

SMC has mold release agents all the way throught it. Regular conventional fiberglass does not adhere properly to it. Which makes repairs visible after a short period of time. The above mentioned evercoat product works very well. I have repaired several WS6 and SS hoods as well as Corvette body panels and have had great results with no shrinkage.

**** i would just V out the crack on the spoiler and use a metal glaze, then primer. And the hood id shoot the front tip in primer and bury it. and that should give a better look at it. Then probably a little metal glaze on it also. I made a similar repair on my spoiler when another guy at work backed into it. Although its not 100% invisible, only because i didnt have time to work it as it needed to be painted
