NEED NEW FRONT BUMPER!!! Who Sells em??
A damn Honda civic hit me yesterday and tore up my fender and front bumper. The lame part about it is, they didnt have insurance! I found a fender through a local company for 97 bux but they cant get me the front bumper cover. My questions is does anyone know of a company that sells the front bumper for a 98-02 Trans Am?
Thanks in advance

There ya go, less than $95 shipped, though its not OEM. I bought an oem from GMPartsdirect a few years ago, but forget what i paid.... probably a couple hundred id bet.

Thing I wonder about the ones on ebay is are they thinner material and flimsy? I saw someone who had a LT1 that he got a non-OEM bumper cover for due to an accident on the track and it was really flexible and flimsy, you could push on it and it would flex quite easily.
I'm curious because eventually I'll need to get a new bumper cover myself since mine is split on the driver side (along with the fender busted).

GM list price is just over 600, according to my Mitchell estimating system. Depending how much your stealership will discount it usually 25% is the norm. We buy alot of gm parts so we get 35%. If you know someone in a shop or stealership they may be able to get one for less.

I have no idea what the average non jobber price is. Of course you have to add prep and paint for a new piece.

350 for a Trans Am bumper or for a Camaro? I know that the front cover is cheaper for a camaro, but if you got a T/A bumper new OEM for 350 that is a hell of a deal. Better than my discount.

Wish the OEM wasn't so expensive though... might put off my body work even longer because of it
Though maybe when I have some money I'll check the boneyards. Who knows, might find a camaro that got rear ended that is the same color as mine. Would be nice, could put off painting then until I have enough saved up to redo the whole car all at once.

Heh it isn't cheap but i think you will be glad you did.
You are looking 130 for the crap windshield 100 for the mirror 383 for the bumper plus paint i dont think the headlight brackets where too much which ones did you need? all of them?
The aftermarket fenders are thinner and the top curve where it meets the hood is sharp unlike the factory fender which is smooth and radius'ed.
Know that isn't what you wanted to hear but trying to help.
Maybe poke around more on ls1tech. Or fix it up the best you can and get better later. Stay safe!!

Hey I appreciate it, when I fix it I'm doing it right. I've learned from other things to never cheap out on stuff, ends up biting you back later. Never would have guessed the mirror would cost that much though! Hopefully I can find a good working one at a boneyard for cheap.
Passenger headlight bracket is fine, all the damage is on the driver's side (except for the mirror, not sure what happend there). It was that way when I got the car so the story behind it is unknown. I'll probably need the mounting brackets for the fender as well since mine are bent up.
Right now I can't afford to fix any of it. The car has a bra on it (came with the car when I bought it), I took it off to wash the car/take the sig pic (showing the good side lol) but it is on normally. Hides part of the hole and keeps the air from getting underneath the busted pieces of the fender and pulling on them while driving down the road. I got the headlight bracket bent back enough so my headlight is aimed properly.
Odds are I'll fix the windshield first - it isn't awful, but I just have to be careful when driving at night, especially when it is wet/raining because of glare. It is #1 on my list but it won't happen for a few months at least.
