Default Hit A Pole!

Last night I was heading down i40 and was going about 65 mph. All of a sudden I hit a lightpole that had fallen across the highway. My cars front two tires hit it very hard and my car flew, as soon as i could i pulled over onto the side of the highway, a long with about 14 other cars that had hit it.
As soon as i got out of my car I had noticed out of every car, mine was the only one that had no flats! thanks to the z rated? But my headlight had popped up and it was hanging about a inch above the hood now and when i try to turn them on, they both get stuck. The only way i can get them open is to first open the hood. My hood also de-aligned itself a little bit. My car also vibrates quite noticeably when driving and only gets worse as my speed gets higher. My cars doesnt seem to pull to one side or another very much, if at all. So my questions are, what should I check for? Im taking it to a body shop and hibdons tomorrow to get it checked out for alignment, and damage.

I would think you would have some type of frame damage from that. I would have your car checked out for sure, did you report it to the insurance?

File a claim with the city, they should pay for it.

****** right, esp if the pole had been sitting there and NO emerg vehicles on the scene. You shouldnt pay a red cent for it.

If it is a light pole then the city is responsible for maintaining them and making sure they dont fall down. There cant be any harm in going in to file a claim with the city.
