that sucks, are you sure its a total, cause it looks like it can be fixed, my buddies was worse than that, and they fixed it and it looks like new again.

Looks like you need a new fender, nose, and hood. There may be some frame damage/warp. But it looks salvageable if you have like $5-7k at the very most

Shoot I wouldn't call it totaled. Replace the fender, bumper cover, and headlight. Straighten that little ding in the hood and align it (or replace it if it is worse than it appears to me in the pics). It isn't bad enough to total really IMO!

Did it really need towed? Doesn't look that bad...

Does not look bad enough to be totaled. Take it to some shops to have an estimate done and go from there. You should post some pics of the engine compartment. I dont really see that front innerstructure being hit that hard to push the engine into the cowl. Your front innerstructure does have a pretty good sidesway, but should be a fairly simple fix for a competent frame guy. Dont put up with any of the crap that the insurance company feeds you. They may want to total it because of what it will bring them at the salvage auction, which would be between 3-6K.

well they said today that it is for a fact totaled. that i can buy it back for 1,500 so thats what im gonna do. i know in the pictures it dosent look that bad. but when we took it apart today it was really bad. every thing was bent and shifted to the side. Yes it is fixable but it would take more money than insurance wanted to put into it.

What a ****** *****. Be a man and admit to your wrong doings

In all honesty, your car looks very salvageable. Even if there is frame damage I'm sure a couple pull can straighten it out. Screw what your insurance says and buy it back. Sounds to be like you got lucky
