Looks very nice! But wouldn't it make the body easier to flex?

Looks good but I kinda like the pain in the *** sports car feel of that hump being there.

No because the factory frame rail is still in place and reinforced as well as the trans cross member. Everything is in tact from the factory. It was just slightly modified to delete the hump.

All the 98+ V6 cars also had their converter right there FYI.

Thanks for the kind words. Maybe they can put this thread as a sticky.

Very nice. I like the idea of getting rid of the hump. I probably won't do this but it came out good.

Great job, but again I wouldn't do it because I never sit in the passenger seat. The hump never bothered me in my buddy's car though. My feet go right over it.

Nice job on that! Maybe when I replace my carpet, I will consider doing that. My dad has all of the tools at their shop. Hmmmm, just might have to do this. That hump kind of bothers me and it is the little details that really make the cars even more unique. Thanks for the pics! That will help when I do tackle this.

I know that hump was used on the 3rd gens for a cat. And apparantly on the V6 4th gens. The floorpans under the the 3rd & 4th gen cars is essentially the same.
